Online Dating Breakup

Internet dating is a great way to meet new people, but all services are not created equal.

For example, while True applicants might be one of the only or few with a screening process for background checks or single certification in marriage databases, they don’t make it easy to cancel should you choose to. You actually have to call in if you want to discontinue using the service, which seems odd for an online dating site, right?

I found that at eHarmony, I was actually considered unmatchable. Great, just what my ego needed. Was I too picky in my choosing and criteria? I was relieved to discover others suffered the same fait. Should we start a club? Seems another complain common to them are some strange charges.

But the biggest troubles with online dating? Breaking up! Your profile will probably be viewable long after you discontinue a service, which means your email box could continue to get its share of flirts after you leave.

While some of the sites allow you to browse profiles on your own; others require you take tests so that they can tell you about people who share your interests and personality. I’ve found I much prefer to go about finding my own matches, but I guess some prefer the matching themselves.

I learned the hard way that you might want to crate an email account specifically for your dating adventures. Not just for privacy, but to better manage the many emails you’ll undoubtedly receive.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
